Comprehensive Ranking System

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is employed by Canada to assign rankings to skilled worker candidates seeking entry into the country via Express Entry. Candidates are evaluated by the CRS according to a set of criteria that includes their work experience, age, education, and language proficiency.

What procedures am I required to undertake to initiate EE?

You will be rated in the Express Entry pool in accordance with your eligibility for the programmes and the profile you submit, as determined by the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

Steps To Begin Express Entry Process

Determine your eligibility

(1) A minimum of one year of specialized work experience is required, with the previous ten years consisting of continuous full-time employment.

(2) Acquire a minimum of a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) seven in an officially recognized language examination, either in English or French.

(3) Successful completion of postsecondary education, as evaluated by an Education Credential Assessment per Canadian standards

Determine your CRS rating

Applications in the Express entry pool are evaluated and ranked utilising the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.

Complete the electronic form.

 As the Express entry invitation to apply is valid for only 60 days, you should login to your account and fill out the form as soon as possible so that you can keep getting all the information you need and check the documents required. 

Get a request to register

In the event that an applicant possesses an adequate number of CRS points, they will be issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA). You are allotted sixty days to complete any additional forms and submit any supporting documentation.

Prepare your documents.

After receiving the Invitation to Apply (ITA), the requested supporting materials must be uploaded. Ensure you are adequately equipped and capable of efficiently collecting the necessary documents.
